Thursday, 30 May 2013. The sun shone on our weekend visit to Bournemouth! Fish and chips, stroll along the pier, sandcastles, beach hut. ice cream. Donna, Tim, Harrison and Evan welcomed us to their home town - Harrison thinks Rose is the Queen of Africa! Kate, Carly and co took Rose and Muhoro to Corfe Castle for them to explore one of our many ruins and soak up the history. On our way home we took in Salisbury Cathedral, Sarum and Stonehenge! Tuesday, 19 July 2011. When I first met Rose she was outside her home - a wooden shack with no furniture, running water.well nothing really. Her great-grandma, 86 years, was washing clothes using a bucket of water - she was pleased it had rained the previous night. They needed to be re-housed quite urgently.
