Tuesday, January 18, 2011. First Day of Ballet. So Lilly has started Ballet with Miss Penny. She has been to two classes and absolutely loves it! One thing I was not prepared for was how much I would love watching her in her class. It brings back so many memories of dancing when I was a little girl. Sunday, November 15, 2009. Above is the pumpkin patch we went to in front of Rusty's work. Lilly loved getting to pick out a pumpkin, until she tripped and hit her lip on a pumpkin stem! Wednesday, July 23, 2014. By that afternoon I finally started feeling good enough to let the kids come in the bedroom with me. I felt awful that I had ignored them all day. Thursday, January 1, 2015. Brody made it on the Principal's Honor Roll again this 9 weeks! So proud of him! He went on his first field trip on the Oakridge School Bus! It was fun hanging out with him at the Philharmonic! We spent an afternoon after school down at the Myriad Gardens. Annie loved the dog park and the kids enjoyed the children's garden. Saturday, April 5, 2014. Brody decided to play basketball this season after a spot on Cooper's team opened up. It was fun to watch him learn a new sport! He had a great coach and a lot of great boys on his team! He made for a really fun season! Defense was definitely his specialty! He was very aggressive and pretty scrappy. He was involved in a lot of jump ball calls! Gran B usually ended up being chief Meg entertainer. She was always pretty happy as long as someone took her to the concession stand!

Tuesday, February 17, 2015. After opening presents Christmas morning we all loaded up and headed to Sulphur! The rest of the family were anxiously awaiting our arrival! Hannah and her Mimi had been busy in the kitchen all morning! The kids went straight to the presents! Counting exactly how many each of them add. Meg won for the most presents this year! Somehow we bribed them to pose for a few pictures before opening presents! But this year Meg acted a little over the top excited about the simple things.

Sunday, July 26, 2015. Yellowstone Adventure Day Five. We were all a little tired after our busy day before so we slept in and took it pretty easy on Monday! After breakfast we got to see Old Faithful again! Then we went on a flat hike to see all the geyser around the Old Faithful Inn! Meg got her summer reading picture with Old Faithful in the background! We patiently waited for the Grand Geyser and it did not disappoint. It was so much more impressive than Old Faithful. Yellowstone Adventure Day Four.

Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Birthday on the River. The Saturday after his birthday we had Brody's party! For the second straight year he wanted it at the Riversport Adventure Zone in OKC. I have such a love/hate relationship with that place. I love it because it is so much fun and the kids have such a great time. I hate it because they don't have enough staff, it is expensive, and it was so hard to keep up with everyone! And rock wall climbing! Someone may have fallen right after this picture was taken!
