You know how it is, though. sometimes you just have to fill in a hole in your stash.). 2 Heavier fabric for the insides of the potholders. I love to use old towels, jeans, fabric that I no longer love. just about anything will work. 3 A piece of backing fabric (at least a 12x12" square). 4 Muslin or cotton broadcloth square (at least 9x9" square). 3 Open up the scraps and press the seam down.

Friday, May 24, 2013. Back in my craft show days (a whole seven years ago - haha! A Boredom Bottle. (I also had a cute little label on the front of mine, but that's not necessary - just an advertising thing I did for the craft shows.). Because it is summer and our kids are out of school, here is the list of activities in the Boredom Bottle. I tried to make the activities the kind that you could do without having to make a trip to the store. Low cost and high fun! You know my motto - Quick, Easy and CHEAP.

Wednesday, March 7, 2012. So, I'm in therapy. Yep, that's it . I've said it. I've laid it all on the table. I see a therapist every Wednesday at 2 pm She's fabulous and she's helped me a lot in the past five or six weeks. I'm writing this post because of something Melinda and I discussed today. She said that I beat myself up and that causes me stress which makes me do my unhealthy eating habits in order to destress. Duh, of course I beat myself up about stuff. Monday, March 11, 2013. I love Peeps. I've always loved Peeps. How can you miss with marshmallows covered in sugar? I love that stores always overbuy Peeps and then have a ton of them marked down to almost nothing the day after Easter. I always stock up. I just can't help it. A couple of years ago I found this idea online somewhere and it spoke to me. Doesn't that just sound like the most yummy ever? They kept coming back for more and more and more! The one who surprises me everyday by the hard things he accomplishes. It used to be that I would have to nudge, push, shove him to get things done or to try hard things.
