I live life to the fullest, and believe in the motto, “Go big or Go home! So I have three amazingly different and wonderful little girls that I share my life with along with my husband. My mother-in-law has assured me that my husband, when he was a boy, was a pretty good kid! I don’t remember being this *insert adjective*! I won...

This little lighting ensemble was in the VERY posh bar in the hotel. Along with these fabulous fellas. This was me still the next morning! Seriously my favorite spot in Jackson Square. I don...

Sunday, March 29, 2015. Bringing Back Sunday Dinner: Slow Cooker Coconut Chicken Curry. It wasn't a bad thing really, but this wasn't my favorite dish that I've made. It wasn't bad, but I'm totally spoiled by the AMAZING Mr. Curry Indian Food that I used to eat when I worked downtown St. Louis. If you EVER get a chance to eat there I highly suggest it! I found the recipe here if you'd like printable instructions:. 2 lbs , 3 1/3 oz boneless skinless chicken breast cut into large cubes. 2-3 cloves of garlic.

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Looking back on 2014. Looking back on 2014, I figured that the last post for the year should be in true Bartnick style. I decided to do it like we Bartnicks do.in pictures. This is very picture heavy just an FYI. Grab a warm mug of whatever you enjoy, scroll thru all of them at your leisure, and I hope that at least one of these pictures puts a smile on your face and warmth in your heart. We spent time with loved one we hold dear. And Besties that brought us cheer. We traveled...

Sunday, February 22, 2015. Bringing Back Sunday Dinner - Breakfast is what's for dinner. I have to laugh because my sister and mom are having THE EXACT same thing for dinner! We girls are linked so closely sometimes it doesn't matter how many miles we are apart. http://womenofcoldcomfortfarm.blogspot.com/2015/12/a-very-green-fall-season.html
The Women of Cold Comfort Farm. Wednesday, December 9, 2015. A Very Green Fall Season. I'm sitting in our living room right now looking out on a green world instead of a white one. Normally at this time of year we have 60 inches of snow already, with temperature highs of 15-22 degrees, sometime with high winds. But not this year! When it did snow, we had the largest snowflakes I've ever seen. Some of them were the size of quarters - see below! Now we're looking forward to Christmas and the New Year!

Thursday, July 23, 2015. Stoughton, WI and The Stoughton House Inn Bed and Breakfast. After we left The Dells we made our way south to Stoughton by way of Madison. We decided that we were going to cheese hunt while in Wisconsin, who wouldn't, there's wonderful cheeses to be found around every corner it seemed. Mitch had done some research about a Wisconsin Cheese Trail, on the list was Formagination…the tour said that it was definitely a wonderful stop not to miss! This wonderful shop did NOT disappoint!

But it was late for ripening. I'd like to share it with you now - Old Fashion Green Tomato Mincement. If any of my sisters and/or brothers-in-law wou...
