I was amazed at how these beautiful young spirits found the abiity to laugh, love and most importantly trust again in my classroom. These are children who had been abused. By the adults they trusted to care for them, neglected by other adults who failed to protect them, and abandoned by the surrounding community of people who did not understand them or listen to their voices calling for help.

Wolfgang Puck was on Martha Stewart once and made this Vegetarian Pizza with Mushrooms and Pesto. You all know how much I love mushrooms, so I had to adapt the recipe some. Plus, I added Chicken, why not? First the Pizza Dough:. I use this recipe. It is wonderful, try it! Red, Yellow, and Orange Bell Peppers.

Can you believe it is the middle of October? For me, this year has been a blur. On the one hand it seems like someone is ripping pages off the calendar; and on the other hand, it feel like time is standing still. Forgiveness if we ask.
