Thoughts from our day to day life. Saturday, December 13, 2014. West Coast to Lake Wanaka! Met a great elderly couple in the Fox Glacier parking lot, they took our picture. NZ land is beautiful. Lake Hawea lookout. Thought we were almost to camp, but it was closed. Had to continue on another couple hours. Lord of The Rings country. Copland Track, 18km up to the Hot Springs! Welcome Flats hot pools, in the mountains. What not to do. Sunset from our camp by the river. Changing brake pads before a descent.

Thoughts from our day to day life. Friday, December 31, 2010. 340 miles to go. As promised, here are our pictures! Another slow upload, but it was worth the wait. Today we dropped down from 5,000ft to 1700ft and it was like walking into summer. Sunny and 60 degrees, what a change! We are getting closer to the Smokies every day! Hoping some of this snow melts off before we get there, but we are prepared either way. Enjoy the pics, and hope you are having a party to welcome in the new year : ). Woods Hole ...

Thoughts from our day to day life. Monday, January 13, 2014. Only Two Weeks Left! We are soaking up our last few weeks in Australia, preparing ourselves for flying back into AK in the middle of winter. This is the truck that used to launch an abalone fishing boat back before he bought a farm. Tyrell doing the morning feeding. He sets the bales down uphill and then they unravel as they roll. Playland in the water, complete with an iceberg. Enjoying a morning Mocha. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Watermark te...

Living the dream...: November 2013
http://tntseavey.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Thoughts from our day to day life. Saturday, November 23, 2013. Sun, Sand, and Thunderstorms. We made it into and out of the city, and saw the major sights while we were there. The rain was pouring down when we arrived but let up shortly so we were able to walk about without getting soaked. Walked across the bridge and around the opera house, through the botanical gardens and the art gallery. Definitely one of my favorite cities. We are now on our way to a WWOOF farm west of Brisbane. A cattle ranch ...

Thoughts from our day to day life. Monday, October 25, 2010. Greenwood Lake, NY - Mile 816.4. We gave in and took a zero day, and at long last I found a computer I can upload pictures from. We are staying in an awesome inn by the lake and enjoying not walking for a whole day! So, here is a slideshow of our past few weeks. A warning before climbing Moosilauke. Up on Mt. Moosilauke we ran into rime ice, brrrrr! This was one of the coldest sections on our trip and for a few days we were worrying about winter.

Thoughts from our day to day life. Friday, December 27, 2013. SS Yongala, our favorite dive site so far. I pulled some pictures off their website, but they don't do justice to the experience. It was amazing! There was so much to look at, I never knew where to look next. The amount of life was incredible. Little fish being eaten by the bigger fish, swirling around the even bigger fish. It was like swimming through a Blue Planet film. Are we driving through a zoo? Days and days of dusty red earth. Sightsee...

Thoughts from our day to day life. Thursday, October 30, 2014. Flying South for the winter. We are currently sitting in the Anchorage airport, waiting for our flight to Honolulu- the first leg of our journey to New Zealand. While watching the activity out on the runway we saw one of these go by, crazy. We are leaving Alaska on the 30th and will land in Christchurch on Nov 1st, so Halloween is MIA. This is my new bike! Tyrell built a deck this summer, and then had to replace the door because it was leakin...

Thoughts from our day to day life. Thursday, September 30, 2010. Lincoln, N.H. Mile 389. Just a quick update from the local library. We had been planning on just picking up some groceries and continuing on down the trail, but we got rained out of the woods this morning. By the time we got to the road everything was soaked and all we wanted was a place to dry out. We have been on the trail over 4 weeks now and have come almost 400 miles. We survived the Whites! Hiking in the fog. Waterfall in the trail.

Thoughts from our day to day life. Monday, October 24, 2011. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Enjoying life in Seward, AK. We spend our summers in Alaska; Tyrell fishing for salmon, Tekla working for a local guiding company. Winters.it depends. Most winters we have spent several months traveling and backpacking around various locations of the world. This winter we will be on Maui, where we will have our first baby.
