Monday, September 29, 2014. Child of the forest. Emilee captured this great photo of Margaux this weekend. I love our little outdoor girl. Sunday, September 28, 2014. Margaux shares sleeping quarters with Daddio and Bessie. She and Bessie are tucked in a few hours before Daddio joins them. August is snug like a bug on the other bed, where I join him for the night. So far this routine is working out OK. Things will change when August is mobile. Breakfast around the campfire. Time for hot dogs and s'mores.

Friday, July 10, 2015. What a gift we have received! Margaux also received her own set of a different pattern (also green) called bow knot. Saturday, August 23, 2014. Where the magic happens. I have been waiting for 2 years for this to happen. For Margaux to lose herself in creativity at her desk. Tonight after dinner she was fully engrossed cutting strips of construction paper and gluing them together. I have vivid and fond memories of creating "masterpieces" at my desk in the kitchen growing up. Some of them we still use to decorate our Christmas tree.
