The tunnel - demoscene blog: aboutThisBlog
http://datunnel.blogspot.com/p/aboutthisblog.html
Everything you wanted to know about the Tunnel. There are blogs about movies, records, books, anything, so I said:. Why not making one about demos? This blog is a tentative to build a scene repository of demo reviews with some original criticism, to recall moments and emotions a certain demo gave you, to discover some unknown classic and definitely to make the scene more widespread. For every urgency of feedback you need to express, we have a beautiful mail address for all your needs:.

The tunnel - demoscene blog: the story of urs&cope
http://datunnel.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-story-of-urs.html
The timeless way of building a 64k.]. A strange story and a masterpiece intro. Do you know how many of these you can fit on a 1.44Mb diskette? Yeah, you probably do. The answer, by the way, is 1.474.560/61.952= 23,8. Or maybe you have to take into account the space allocated for the boot sector, the FAT and the root directory. So that would really be 1.457.664/61.952= 23,52. But I'm just digressing. The truth is that we want to talk about this. Yeah, because Mercury has *hexagonal* *lens* *flares*! But w...

The tunnel - demoscene blog: Forgotten pearls
http://datunnel.blogspot.com/2014/06/forgotten-pearls.html
Forgotten pearls of the demoscene.]. One or two demos you could have missed so far. Let's face it: modern demoscene sucks. Too many hexagonal lens flares, too many trilinear filtered polygons. Too many satori demos and too few TBL DOS intros. But, you know, as the title says, there is still hope in the past: maybe there's something to discover again in that beautiful period of our lives called "the nineties", when we listened to 2Unlimited. Modern demoscene is too involute. We vote for pictures in 64k.

The tunnel - demoscene blog: demoscene
http://datunnel.blogspot.com/p/demoscene.html
I've seen a spinning Amiga ball. And that was the demoscene. Demoscene' is the word that encloses many meanings: an underground movement of people, a community of coders, graphicians, musicians, swappers, trolls, frequently grouped in 'demogroups' and gathered in scenic meetings called 'parties'. But demoscene is much more than this. You can't define demoscene: you should see it yourself. At 4/05/2010 10:22:00 PM - under: - comments? Iscriviti a: Post (Atom). U2 (not the pop group).

The tunnel - demoscene blog: greetings
http://datunnel.blogspot.com/p/greetings.html
Mom, I want to greet the Future Crew. And yeah, Triton too. The artsy productions of those demogroups have influenced my mind during the inception of daTunnel's new design:. Yeah, you start in alphabetic order, and then you say: hmm, nevermind). At 4/05/2010 10:22:00 PM - under: - comments? Iscriviti a: Post (Atom). U2 (not the pop group).
