I'll let Mr Frost do the talking. Whose woods these are I think I know. His house is in the village though;. He will not see me stopping here. To watch his woods fill up with snow. My little horse must think it queer. To stop without a farmhouse near. Between the woods and frozen lake. The darkest evening of the year.

Friday, April 17, 2009. First Speedbump built me some nice boxes, four feet by four feet, six inches deep. I filled them with a soil mixture: 1/3 vermiculite, 1/3 compost and 1/3 peat moss. Then I marked off every 12 inches (it didn't really work out that way, see I screwed up already, I am arithmatically challenged) with string and made a grid. Sunday, March 15, 2009. 5k on St. Patrick's Day. My first 5k of the year! A couple of weeks ago I thought, oh shit! My race is coming up! I'm only running about once a week! So I kicked my training into high gear for about two weeks, after averaging about twice per week over the winter. I managed to shave off nearly 7 minutes from my first ever 5k from last August, and 5 minutes off of my last 5k last October. I crossed the finish line in 33 minutes! I had to go out last night and try to really run a 5k.

Today was Taft's first day at "school" That is what we are calling it but it is actually a Mother's Day out program at a local church here in Geneva.
