Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Second Childhood or Second Adulthood. You every feel like you are simultaneously going two different directions at the same time. Not that I am complaining mind you. In a quiet way, I really enjoy sitting back and watching Krissy and her family as they plan. Splitting up is in a way like a second childhood, you have a chance to get a "re-do" on all of your life decisions, sit around and eat Cheetos out of the bag and then wipe your hands on the arm rest. Monday, September 19, 2011. Ch Ch Ch Changes. I was hoping that after the wedding we would have some time to catch out breath and gently settle into our lives here at Exit 42A. However, Krissy and I have some stuff going on. We are slowly but surely trying to digest the enormous hoard of wedding presents that we have so generously received. It seems like the gift train may finally be over, the UPS man stopped in front of the house yesterday and actually dropped off something at someone else's house.

Wednesday, September 14, 2011. Saturday was a day of running around doing way too many last minute errands, picking up forgotten tuxedo accessories, writing checks. packing for the honeymoon. It should have all taken about 45 minutes. It took hours (or at least seemed like it). Finally we got everyone packed and loaded into the car, my Mom's dog Pokey was deposited with the dog sitter and by all accounts had a tremendous time and became a minor internet celebrity for a day or two. Not so this weekend.
