ELECTRICITY supplies were restored to more than 1,000 homes and businesses in the Wiveliscombe area last night. Many of the properties had been without power for two days after heavy snowfalls brought down overhead cables. All electricity supplies were back on by 9 pm last night. ANOTHER weather warning for West Somerset has been issued by the Met Office as two-and-a-half inches of snow was expected to fall on Exmoor tonight.
