Saturday, 6 October 2007. Kyrgyzstan - Tent Worries. Further bad weather we spent most of the day wedged against the tent walls trying to stop it collapsing. It all got too much for Barrett and he left Constantinos to hold up the tent whilst he went up an easy peak (4239m N40D 30.551, E75D 07.003). Sunday, 30 September 2007. We spent the day soaking the sun like lizards, drinking Russian coffee and drying our equipment. Saturday, 29 September 2007. Today we had a go at the rocky peak above base camp. After reaching 4200m we had to turn back as we didn't have sufficient technical gear and the climbing above looked very technically demanding also neither of us were fully acclimatized for it.
