http://thinkglobalactloco.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Think Global, Act Loco! Sunday, June 20, 2010. Pizza Pugliese and Baked White Eggplant. Have you ever wondered why eggplants are named so? Well, the first hint to ease your curiosity is that they are not always purple. Some eggplants are pink, some striped pink and white, and others pure white. Another thing to keep in mind is the shape. Not all eggplants are oblong. When you have a look at the variety pictured in this photo (courtesy of Susan at Fatfree Vegan. Must talk crust. I bought my crust (mad...

http://badlilmama.blogspot.com/2009/11/my-take-on-frugal-moms-advice.html

Also, nice to the environment. Ross's take: "Screw the environment." Or maybe it was "The environment can wait." Yeah, that was it. And o...

Think Global, Act Loco! Thursday, February 25, 2010. Squash Pureé. BBQ Tri Tip. I love cooking tri tip. It's cheap, it's flavorful, and it's easy. Most often I use a recipe from Scott's Kitchen. As with so many other Italian dishes, how it looks and tastes can vary greatly. A quick trip to the wiki-cloud. Informs us that the dish in Emilia-Romagna (where it's known as a bomba).

Fortunately todd is (for the most part) willing to put up with me pulling into a campsite, walking around, trying out the views, leaving, pulling into a new one and starting the process over.
