Week 2 Weigh In: Down 4 pounds this week – Exploring Bandyland
https://exploringbandyland.wordpress.com/2012/05/21/week-2-weigh-in-down-4-pounds-this-week
Chronicling my first year with a lap-band. Week 2 Weigh In: Down 4 pounds this week. This week’s loss puts me closer to my mini goal. I wanted to be 240 before June 14th when I see my surgeon next. That leaves me with 9 pounds left to go. That’s about 3 pounds a week, and although that sounds like a lot, at my weight with the exercise I started pounding into this week, it really shouldn’t be a problem. Surgery weight 284 January 23rd/ Current weight 249 May 21st. Click to email (Opens in new window).
What’s for Dinner: Roasted Brussel Sprouts – Exploring Bandyland
https://exploringbandyland.wordpress.com/2012/05/20/whats-for-dinner-roasted-brussel-sprouts
Chronicling my first year with a lap-band. What’s for Dinner: Roasted Brussel Sprouts. I admit it, up until this evening I had never cooked or tasted a brussel sprout. My mother hated them, so she never cooked them and seeing curled up faces when ever the dish was mentioned made me decide long ago that these were a vegetable to be abhorred. Oh how wrong was I! I only had a cup of sprouts because I didn’t want to go over board if I didn’t like them. It made two half cup servings for me. May 20, 2012.

Exploring Balkans
Exploring Beauty with Lindsay
Exploring Beauty with Lindsay. Monday, March 29, 2010. And to be perfectly honest, I don’t always feel like staying up later on Friday night or getting up earlier on Saturday morning to wash my hair. This Saturday was one of those days. In fact, I didn’t get out of bed until nearly 6:30, and by that time I needed to rush out the door. The problem was that my hair was a greasy mess.
