Mary's Travels and Travails. My life is an adventure. Saturday, February 28, 2015. Birthday Dinner at Opal Restaurant. Several people recommended Opal Restaurant and Bar. To me, so for my birthday dinner with my parents, I decided to give it a try. We arrived around 5:40 or so, and we got the last table that was not reserved (birthday luck). For my birthday dessert, I chose the Dark Chocolate Pecan Tart. Imagine a shortbread crust, filled with a brownie, topped with pecan halves. In the next two photos, ...

Mary's Travels and Travails. My life is an adventure. Saturday, January 31, 2015. SBGAL: Franceschi Park Walk. I am excited to be a new member of Santa Barbara Girlfriends Adventure league, a group of amazing women who get together and brave sunburn, poison oak, blisters, and ticks to spend time together hiking in the Great Outdoors. Here we are pausing for about 3 minutes at Franceschi Park to admire the view. And a gorgeous view of Santa Barbara it was, too. Perfect sunny day. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

http://marystravelsandtravails.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Mary's Travels and Travails. My life is an adventure. Saturday, September 29, 2012. Having been at work Monday through Thursday, by today (Friday) the fig tree was laden with fruit.
