Eye on Emily's Blog. Following Emily's battle with cancer. February 2, 2011. Emily is already eating, reading and watching movies. Needless to say, she isn’t crazy about being hooked up and bandaged up, but seems to be tolerating the pain. Everyone seems pleased with her progress and how she is doing. To add to the stress, the surgery is scheduled on Danielle’s work week, so she has had to find coverage and trade shifts.
