Monday, June 11, 2012. Team Has Arrived at Nyakato! The team has arrived at Nyakato yesterday, well at least the majority of the team. Because of rescheduling of flights and other crazy stuff pertaining to the transport. Of our bags to Nyakato, Brooke and Emily stayed in Nairobi last night. And will be arriving in Nyakato this afternoon. More details to come about all of that in a future post). The Powells and Steve Vanesco will also be arriving and joining the team today, too. Monday, June 25, 2012. All Arrived Back to KC Safe and Sound. Our travels home were much smoother. Than our trip over. Everyone arrived back in KC on Saturday evening. With all their luggage. Our trip home began with loading up the bus. After spending our last night in Tanzania at the Uruhu Lutheran Hostel. Our last drive on the busy roads of Tanzania. Between the hostel and the Kia Lodge. The beautiful sunflowers along the road. Since our flight was later that evening,. Hanging out at the KIA airport.

Monday, June 25, 2012. Construction Update from the Don and Cindy. While the majority of the team left Nyakato on Tuesday morning. For the safari part of our trip. Don and Cindy stayed back at the ranch and continued to work. On finishing up things at the eye clinic. The local workers finished all the exterior painting. On the inside Don was able to get the holes cut in the doors and. All the rest of the door knobs and dead bolts installed. He also was able to get more of the trim cut and installed.
