Pedro De La Rosa was unable to start due to an engine failure. Timo Glock began the long line of failure related problems. Michael Schumacher was the second man to fall into this evil trap, quickly followed by Kamui Kobayashi, Michael Schumacher, Vitaly Petrov, Vitantonio Liuzzi and an unfortunate Fernando Alonso. On Saturday, there was a large amount of rain and Sebastian Vettel managed to get over the line in 1st. While all of these events were taking place, Pedro De La Rosa's race was going from a jog to a session of running on the spot.
