Exhibition Dates and Venues. Although Karen’s early years were spent in Swindon, she spent many weekends and holidays with grandparents who lived on the edge of Savernake Forest. Here she developed a love of the Wiltshire countryside which is now reflected in her painting. Although she loved drawing as a child and joined the family business. Running an Art and Craft shop when she left school, she did not take up painting. Seriously until a few years ago, attending classes at New College in Swindon.
