My Willowcrest Blog: One of the last Victorian houses
http://mywillowcrestblog.blogspot.com/2013/08/one-of-last-victorian-houses.html
Monday, 26 August 2013. One of the last Victorian houses. On a day trip to Bournemouth yesterday we visited a really cool art gallery/museum which was built between 1897 and 1901, and thus is one of the last Victorian houses constructed in the UK. The Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum. I suppose it is roughly the same era as the Willowcrest house is supposed to represent, so here is some eye candy from the interior. Looks like a fun place to see. Lots of victorian detail! 26 August 2013 at 09:13.

My Willowcrest Blog: What's in a name?
http://mywillowcrestblog.blogspot.com/2013/04/whats-in-name.html
Monday, 22 April 2013. What's in a name? As part of the house packing process, I've been cleaning out my desk and I found the slip of paper where I was jotting down possible business names for my Willowcrest quilting and knitting shop. The name was waiting for the construction process to finish, and will go up on the front of the house and on a folding board in the garden. I was wondering: 'where can I put this list of names so that I can find it again when we eventually unpack? What do you think?

My Willowcrest Blog: March 2012
http://mywillowcrestblog.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, 25 March 2012. I've been doing a fair bit of dollshouse related activity, just not specifically on the Willowcrest. I went to the Kempton Park dollshouse fair and then I went on a Mulvany and Rogers Masterclass. This weekend I went to the Arnhem dollhouse fair where I did get some knitting items, knitted sweaters (bargain! Some spools of thread, and a kit to make a sewing machine - all for theWillowcrest. You can read about the visit on my main blog here. Sunday, 4 March 2012. Subscribe to: Posts...

Wednesday, 21 November 2012. Purchases at the Tom Bishop Madrid show. I went to the Tom Bishop miniatures show in Madrid last weekend for the first time, as part of a fast but fun city break for the weekend. I enjoyed the show and picked up a few things for the Willowcrest. The two waste bins and the basket are for the Willowcrest. They're made of card, decorated with decals, paint and gloss varnish. This log cabin stitched pillow will go on the sofa in the top floor workshop room. My Fairfield kit bash.

http://theweetinker.blogspot.com/2014/10/boulangerie-in-miniature.html
Sunday, October 19, 2014. Here is my little 1" scale Boulangerie. I made all of the bread out of Fimo. My good friend Moonyeen taught me how to use chalks to color just right. The bicycle is just a cheap red one I purchased on ebay, I painted it and aged it a bit. I also made the sign and the little basket. The flowers were made out of paper from a tutorial fount on youtube. I printed the sign of the internet and reduced it in size. Labels: Boulangerie in Miniature. October 21, 2014 at 12:51 PM. theweetinker: February 2012
http://theweetinker.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 23, 2012. Gypsy Wagon a miniature in half scale! I chose this kit, from Mcqueenie Miniatures, because the undercarriage looks very authentic, the wheels look real and I love the fact that it came with some of the built ins. Also, because it is fairly plain on the outside, I can decorate it my way. So, the build begins:. Opening the box is always intimidating! So much work to do! But, the thought that I will turn this pile of kits into something three dimensional is exciting! Then I pai...

Thursday, August 15, 2013. I have been dreaming of a vintage trailer since I can remember. And ever since then, I have been nagging my husband to get one. Now, before you go off thinking "why did she need her "husband's" permission? Isn't she her own person? The answer is simple-an old trailer is going to need some major reno and he's very good at that! We brought her home-she was in rough shape but she was ours. A 1969 Airstream Caravelle! So, this is a 1969, Airstream Caravel, in slightly rough shape.
