Bright Lights for the Dimits: December 2010
http://brightlightsdimit.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Bright Lights for the Dimits. Tuesday, December 28, 2010. Better late than never, here is our blog entry for our Sabbatical trip last summer. Warning, this is a long blog entry. Summer was finally here. Drove a windy freeway to Marge’s house. Baby Andy is 8-1/2 months old, and so cute! Such eyelashes. Jake is 3-1/2 years old. Also cute. Ashley was there working in the cornfields for the summer. Lots of corn jokes! We went to Old Sacramento, and saw old shops and the western-style boardwalk. We went i...

Bright Lights for the Dimits. Saturday, April 25, 2009. A Trip to the Tulip Field and Down Memory Lane. This is Lester blogging today. It has been awhile since we have blogged, so I thought I would do a short blog about our trip to the Tulip Festival in Woodburn. Below are the wooden shoe pictures for this year. As an added bonus, I have also included a picture of the 1st year Alexis and Brandon came to the Tulip Festival (they were about 4 months old). Alexis 2002 (4 months old). Alexis 2009 (7 yrs old).

Bright Lights for the Dimits: April 2010

Bright Lights for the Dimits. Friday, April 9, 2010. The End of an Era. This is Lester posting tonight and it is with a bit of sadness and nostalgia that I announce the end of an era. After 15 years of driving fun, the time has come to bid a fond farwell to my Eagle Talon. This event gives me an opportunity to reflect on the many changes in my life during the last 15 years and to pay tribute to my reliable Eagle Talon. Lester and his brand new 1995 Eagle Talon (May 1995). One reliable, fun to drive car.

Bright Lights for the Dimits: September 2010
http://brightlightsdimit.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Bright Lights for the Dimits. Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Words of wisdom from a 5-year-old. I really want to keep better track of the important (and just cute) events in the lives of my oh-so-sweet children and fabulous spouse. Brandon was just on one today with his mouth.so funny! 1- Swimming lessons this morning, learning the "look before you leap" rule. Swim teacher: What should you look for before you jump into the pool? Brandon: "Sharks with open mouths.". I love you, Bubs! View my complete profile.

The Jepson Family: May 2011
http://jakeandcassidi.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 16, 2011. I have not updated my blog for awhile. We have had a lot happen in the last month. Jake and I had found a house we wanted to buy in Springville, we felt really good about it so we decided to put in an offer and just see what happened. We had set up a meeting with the realtor for Tuesday morning to work on an offer. When we met with him he informed us that someone had put in an offer the night before. So after a few days of waiting we received a call and they told us the bank had acc...

Approximately Normal: July 2012
http://www.approximatelynormal.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 23, 2012. 0 Jef ran in another Ragnar race, but we have no pictures of his lovely sweaty face. You can't really go watch these kinds of things, you know. And also, we hope he had a nice Father's day and we tried to let him take a nice long nap. 1-3 Walmart pools are cheap and fun for water days in the sun. This one has already lasted longer than last summer's, which is impressive considering the abuse she has taken. That's the kids' school in the pictures. Yikes. 11-13 While at Bear Lake, ta...

Bright Lights for the Dimits: December 2009
http://brightlightsdimit.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Bright Lights for the Dimits. Tuesday, December 22, 2009. The Vacation of a Lifetime. There are times when it is good to have a husband who travels frequently for his work. This was one of those times, as I was able to join him on a long-held dream of visiting the Middle East. We also visited the Garden of Gethsemane. Like many a site, there was a church on or near it. The garden, however, was open and well-cared for with a small grove of amazingly old olive trees. Their trunks were huge! We also visited...

Bright Lights for the Dimits: The Spoken Word, by Brandon
http://brightlightsdimit.blogspot.com/2010/11/spoken-word-by-brandon.html
Bright Lights for the Dimits. Tuesday, November 9, 2010. The Spoken Word, by Brandon. 1- For Thanksgiving, he recommends "smashed" potatoes. 2- Eating huevos rancheros (egg mixture w/ tortillas): "I like the cover," (a.k.a., the tortilla). 3- Brandon wanted to get some "injury" today ("energy"). I know we're supposed to correct them, but I just love hearing them blister the English language! New one, from Brandon in the backseat of the car, after being driven to a bunch of stores by Daddy.
