How was your Evening? Just one of many to come. Boyfriend went away for the day on business, so I took a vacation day just for me - yahoo! The new floors in the apartment are so beautiful, but the crappy quarter round that the contractors put in was poorly installed, and very scuffed. Today I laid painters tape, used PolyFilla on the nail holes (because they did not! And painted to match. It looks so lovely and it only cost 22$. Wide band painters tape. Thursday, 29 December 2011. Crafted Christmas Pressies - Part 2. In the end I had ran out of time. I had planned to stitch the snowflakes onto some red felt cut in a circle but it was Christmas Eve and my husband phoned to say he was just leaving work so I just attached them. Even though they're starched they're still floppy so i'll take them down and fix that part. The crochet stockings were made using Angie's Le Monde de Sucrettes Little Christmas Socks. How was your Evening? Almost the End of 2011. And as good as a year it has been, I can't wait to start 2012! My big accomplishment of 2011 was my career switch - leaving financial services to begin clerical/registration work in healthcare. I really needed the change! Hopefully greater things will come from that seed in 2012. Also boyfriend and I are dieting again. Which we try every New Year, as well as multiple times throughout the year! We survived the flood! 2012-2013 Year of Projects. Without further adieu, I bring you the February Lady Sweater:. Not my finest picture, but you aren't here to see me, just the sweater. :0) It still needs a button or two, which I have yet to pick out. I wore it today when I went into town to meet a friend. We of course went to our LYS and several ladies there gave me much reassurance and wonderful compliments, thank-you ladies at Athena Fibers! Well, I did it! March 2, 2012 at 7:36 AM. It looks so awesome! It's A Knitting Thing.
