Chronic Blabber Syndrome: A Class Apart
http://chronicblabber.blogspot.com/2011/06/class-apart.html
Nothing fancy about this blog. Just pouring out my thoughts here. Sunday, June 26, 2011. After a long time, I was really 'affected' by this movie. (The last movie that really 'affected' me was 'The Fighter' and before that it was Inception, I guess :) ). Stuff that I liked about the movie :. 1 The acting and character portrayal is truly remarkable. This is one of those rare movies where you get instantly hooked onto the story and begin to feel what the characters feel! The only thing that I didn't like a...

The American Sojourn: August 2010
http://theamericansojourn.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 12, 2010. The City of Milwaukee. Nestled on the banks of the majestic Lake Michigan, Milwaukee is a place of contrasts. Although, it is the business hub of the state of Wisconsin, it is as peaceful and serene as a resort-town. The moment I entered the city by road, I was greeted by interweaving flyovers (more elegant and more number of levels than our humble flyover complex in South Delhi), huge skyscrapers and ornate cathedrals. The architecture of the city kept me enthralled. Becau...

Wednesday, May 25, 2011. What Happens in DC stays in DC - Part 3. Incident 3 - The Innocent Bystander. Most of us often ponder about the things that we wished to happen but which never happened. We look back at past events and ask ourselves a thought provoking question - 'what if? The answer to which is seldom known. What if I had done something different? What if I had not spoken those words? What if I had studied more? What if I had prepared better? What if I had failed in my exams? Everyone was drivin...

Chronic Blabber Syndrome: Hara Lalten
http://chronicblabber.blogspot.com/2011/06/hara-lalten.html
Nothing fancy about this blog. Just pouring out my thoughts here. Sunday, June 26, 2011. Stuff I liked about Green Lantern :. 1 The concept - intergalactic peacekeepers, the concept of hope and fear etc. Well, I guess it is unfair to attribute this to the movie, because the movie owes its back-story to the concepts in the legendary DC comics series. 2 The special effects are really good, especially the rich intergalactic worlds and Green Lantern's powers, which are a treat to the eyes! 1 Movie or Spoof?
