Family, Faith, and Fridays. Friday, October 31, 2014. 52 Weeks of Family Scripture Memorization. I am typing this post from bed Thursday night. It is here I have been since Monday night,. Achy body, cough and high temp. Quick fact- did you know that when an adult's temp is 102.6 (at least this adult) you think you might die. And then once it breaks, you feel magical. Unfortunately, I am stuck in that cycle for now. By the time your eyes see this post I pray I am done. Anyway, I digress. For a friend who ...

Family, Faith, and Fridays. Friday, January 30, 2015. 34 Weeks of Clean! OK friends, we are going to take a week's detour from hard cleaning - week 3 for cabinets and drawers. Took me about 5 hours and week 4 of fridge, freezers, and floors. Was hard (and cold) work and I need a break! So this week a simpler project - recipes! Ok, maybe not simpler, but at least no scrubbing is involved. More organizing, and I LOVE organizing, remember? Anyway, this is what happens-. Yep, that is it. Silly easy, huh?

Family, Faith, and Fridays. Friday, July 3, 2015. 34 Weeks of Clean! Week 27- Clothes Storage. I know last week was kind of overwhelming, so let me encourage you for a moment. You CAN do this! I promise, if I can, you can! Really - have you looked at my before pictures. I am cheering you on. In the meantime- this week we are conquering the clothes storage areas in your house. I also tend to buy off season sales, so anything I find I put into the bin for the upcoming season. If you have things you kno...

Fried Clams and Sweet Tea. Growing in the Grace of Christ, Homeschooling, and a Yankee's view of life in the South. Curriculum We’re Using This Year. You’re at the best WordPress.com site ever. Writing My Way Through Life. I was scavenging through my daughter’s closet in preparation for our spring garage sale. I came across a wad of necklaces that she had thrown into a small jewelry case. The strands, some gold, some silver, some real, some fake, were weaved and knotted together in a tight little orb. I let out a loud sigh as I held the mass of bling in my hand. I took the wadded mess downstairs, made a cup of coffee and sat down to work on the task a...

Family, Faith, and Food. A mom's quest for physical and spiritual health. Monday, September 22, 2014. Better Saved Than Sorry. Better safe than sorry.". We've all heard (and probably said) those words on numerous occasions.
