Midlife musings from a mother of four. Friday, March 31, 2006. Where does the time go? I'll be sending pictures soon. Posted by Terri @ 4:09 PM. Wednesday, March 15, 2006. According to a poster I saw "taquiner" is "the state of being cheered". Now I have not been able to find this word in any dictionary I have at home so is this truely a word? Then I find this birthday card and this is the inscription inside the card: Happy birthday. Let's all sing. Wishing you the best of BLING! What the world is BLING?

Wanderlust: December 2006

So, if we build a fence at the USA-Mexico border to keep out illegal immigrants, um. who will build the fence? Might be working themselves out of a job. Career and Christmas lists. My last post was from Montana and I there is a pretty good story of why I was there and how I got to where I am now. Maybe I'll be able to tell it next weekend when I have more time. 15-20 hrs/week at a semi-stable part-time job with a real employer, preferably with benefits. I really enjoy consulting. Run a small research farm.

Wanderlust: Buy it, use it, break it, fix it, Trash it, change it, melt-upgrade it

Buy it, use it, break it, fix it, Trash it, change it, melt-upgrade it. Gandhi said "Live simply so that others may simply live." I try. I've been wondering if I would leave less of a footprint by not living in an apartment or by not driving. I think it's a toss up economically as well. Certain things just cost more if you can't purchase them in bulk. I'm considering joining the Small House Society. I believe I have an ". Unconventional spirit coupled with down-to-earth practicality. Welcome back. I'...

Herman's Honeytown: April 2006
http://dmurauskas.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 28, 2006. Alright, I'm gonna save this draft every other sentence. I mentioned plenty about what I don't believe or know, now for some of what I do. Angela said that he loves me. This I know. As I was thinking about the Cross, I tried to find some loophole that didn't require Jesus to die to cover our sins (much like I'm eager for evidence that the "Spirit of Prophecy" isn't or doesn't have to be Ellen White.) After coming up empty there, I thought about. Posted by Daniel @ 12:19 AM. You're...

Monday, May 29, 2006. I've now tried the Mayan Chocolate. It is a "rich chocolate ice cream with a fudge swirl and a hint of cinnamon." It was very smooth ice cream. The fudge swirl was a pleasant accent. The "hint" of cinnamon was not as subtle, which is okay, but distracts from the chocolate. Chocolate Peanut Butter still reigns. Posted by Daniel @ 10:18 PM. Not to be confused with Foie Gras, fattened goose liver. For Lent, I'm giving up going to bed after midnight. Friday, December 30, 2005. So is it "fire dancer" or "Fyrd Knocker"? This is why I hesitate to get a license plate for my silver car, nicknamed the Silver Fox. I could either go with slvrfox or silvrfx. The former could be sliver fox and the latter could be silver fix. That is why I would want to go with rhubarb, no misunderstandings there.
