I was looking out of our french doors and saw a massive shower of leaves filling up my entire view. It's hard to express how magical it was and how many leaves were actually raining down. Monday, August 19, 2013. Where I Come From. One cool thing about going back and forth between our home and cottage is that we get to pass through the town I grew up in. Oceana County is so beautiful! I sometimes take a little detour and show my girls the old farmhouse I grew up in and the places I used to play and where their dad proposed to me at the foot of Little Point Sable lighthouse. Miss Cassidy offered to help me with the food for Baylee's birthday party and then ended up just doing it all for me. It was a ton of work and I just want her to know that it was appreciated by us all! Cass being who she is, a caterer at heart, created a Princess Buffet and it was delicious! Sorry Cass ;(. But those that were there for the celebration remember how awesome it was.
