Avenue window displays or the glowing suburban neighborhoods of my Christmases past. Não resisti a colocar aqui "ecos" da noite de 24 de Abril de 1974, quando "La Traviata" de Verdi se cantou no Coliseu dos Recreios de Lisboa com Joan Sutherland (Violetta) e Alfredo Kraus (Alfredo). É uma noite mítica por dois motivos: o primeiro, óbvio, véspera do 25 de abril (é algo de "realismo fantástico" sul-americano pensar que enquanto a australiana se esmifrava em coloraturas já os tanques começavam a aquecer! Meu Deus, que saudades!
