It Started in Italy. One couple. Two tastes. In search of the perfect pizza. It Started in Italy. Our first pizza experience in Italy was the Margarita Pizza. I know what you’re thinking and no, we didn’t drink it. It was thin crust pizza with olive oil, fresh mozzarella, basil and fresh sliced tomatoes – but no sauce. And you ate it with a fork. When this first opened I was excited to have a local brick over pizza place. But like many people, we were surprised to drop in at dinner a few years back and find no pizza and a menu of pricey Italian entrees. This week, me and the work crew were headed to our favorite thai spot across the street, Sweet Basil.
