Restoration Revelation: October 2009
http://restorationrevelation.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Following Jesus in everyday life. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. The (community) cost of unemployment. We need to evaluate what our inacation actually costs. It's easy for us to look at this and place blame, "why aren't these people working? They should just get a job! What are we doing to assist in this? Thursday, October 1, 2009. God's wrath is a wrath of frustration, not hate. It is because He has loved so much that his wrath is so great. Not an easy thought to get past, but in the end, would we...A lif...

Restoration Revelation: November 2009
http://restorationrevelation.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Following Jesus in everyday life. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. Short cuts and crashes. Part of my routine for the past few months has been attempting to bike commute to work a couple times a week. If you have never experienced bike commuting, I highly recommend it. It's a great way to get a work out, transport yourself, and slow down life a little bit. On top of that you save money and the environment. Pretty much a win win all around. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Restoration Revelation: August 2010
http://restorationrevelation.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Following Jesus in everyday life. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. I am not looking forward to my 30th birthday. It's months away, but I am pretty sure I have been avoiding thinking about it since I turned 27 and was officially in my "late 20's." Thirty isn't really all that big of a deal I suppose, but it's during these past couple years and as I move forward that those dreams of my youth are dashed from ever being a possibility. Restoration Revelation: January 2010
http://restorationrevelation.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Following Jesus in everyday life. Thursday, January 21, 2010. Call me johnny cash. I walk a lot of lines. Some of those are good lines to walk, others are not. The majority are only ever in my head (and sometimes on the blog). These lines that I vacillate between, over, and around normally go something like this:. And they normally follow good books or discussions over a cup of coffee, glass of wine, or a great beer. Thursday, January 7, 2010. This past year and especially these past 5 or 6 months have b...

Restoration Revelation: March 2010
http://restorationrevelation.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Following Jesus in everyday life. Tuesday, March 23, 2010. I've started watching the new HBO mini-series,. On Sunday nights over at my dad's house. This show is the story of the Marines 1st Division in the PTO in World War II. I really liked. Which was the original HBO mini-series on the Airborne in Europe during that same time. Is good so far, but not quite. Young Men and Fire. Called this an "outfit.". An 'outfit' as men call themselves when they take on the same tough job, have to be thought a little ...

Restoration Revelation: February 2010
http://restorationrevelation.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Following Jesus in everyday life. Tuesday, February 9, 2010. I was up early with Jonathan this morning reading him a book when he started pulling stickers off of a paper and sticking them on my forehead. I asked him, "what are you doing? He patted me and said, "sticker, nice! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A life long resident of the Lehigh Valley, though have travelled enough to miss it at times. Restoration Revelation: K-I-S-S.
http://restorationrevelation.blogspot.com/2011/10/k-i-s-s.html
Following Jesus in everyday life. Thursday, October 13, 2011. I don't watch The Office normally, but one of the funniest lines I have heard from it is when Dwight is talking about the Acronym K.I.S.S and says, "Michael always says ‘K-I-S-S. Keep it simple, stupid.’ Great advice. Hurts my feelings every time." And it's really true. That's it, we proclaim Jesus and then we respond to that Gospel, which leads us to proclaim it again. It may look different depending on our culture, context and audience, ...

Restoration Revelation: September 2010
http://restorationrevelation.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Following Jesus in everyday life. Friday, September 10, 2010. I got together with a good friend last night for dinner and coffee while Lindsey and J are away. We had a great time of catching up, seeing what's new in life, work, family, and ministry. One thing we talked about struck a chord (or a nerve) with me. It screamed a message that I have thought on numerous occasions. 1) Lame and Boring. 3) Who We Are. Should we move from Men's Retreat to Man weekend? You have my thoughts. A chicken is a good job.
