Fearmakers: January 2011
http://fearmakers.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 31, 2011. Bill Oberst Interviewed by Horror News. The incredible thing about Bill's ability," says Dismal writer / producer Bo Buckley, "is he can create the feeling of dread through a performance without the need for gore or props." Bo adds, "Bill comes into a scene and it immediately heightens the tension.". Read the entire interview of Bill Oberst Jr. for Horror News HERE. Bill suggests everyone check out Dismal and so do we. Thanks Bill! Links to this post. Friday, January 21, 2011.
Fearmakers: February 2011
http://fearmakers.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 17, 2011. All good stuff" - Ain't It Cool News reviews Savage. The highlight of the film", for AICN, was the Bigfoot. With costuming by Toby Sells and a stand out performance and stunts by Jack Harrison, the combination created a Bigfoot "with menace and power". AICN sets it apart from other Bigfoot movies for "a cool premise, some decent acting from some, and more than a few nice Bigfootin’ scenes". They checked it out. Shouldn't you? See the entire review HERE. Links to this post.

Monday, May 9, 2011. I enjoyed Dismal more than the original Wrong Turn" - MoreHorror.com. Dismal was the second feature reviewed by MoreHorror.com recently. While they may have taken a liking to Savage, there is no doubt they found a gem in the more grisly horror flick, Dismal. Read the full review HERE. Links to this post. Friday, May 6, 2011. Fearmakers: Savage Featured in Bigfoot Filmography
http://fearmakers.blogspot.com/2012/10/savage-featured-in-bigfoot-filmography.html
Monday, October 1, 2012. Savage Featured in Bigfoot Filmography. A few years ago a writer named David Coleman approached me and asked if he could get some Savage stuff for a book he was publishing at the time called Sasquatch Cinema. We gladly obliged and send him pictures, articles and even did an interview for the book. Well lo and behold, the book was released earlier this year under the new title, The Bigfoot Filmography. The book is a little pricey at $49.95 listed on Amazon.com.

Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood. Monday, December 8, 2014. Best of the Fest: Twisted Tails. For those of you who didn’t make it to this year’s Twisted Tails Film Festival, I’ll try to give you short wrap up of my experiences so you can know what you missed. And you missed plenty! Let me explain why…. Never mind the films (I’ll get to those), the people and auxiliary happenings had me smiling inside all day long. You just have to see it for yourself. Two small samples are here. 8220;Get Dead”...
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood: June 2014
http://gregoryblair.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood. Friday, June 27, 2014. To The Scream Queens. Me, Dawna Lee Heising and my rescue pup- our Deadly Revisions. There has been much ado about women in film, including the horror genre:. The fact that they’re underrepresented, under paid, under clothed or a combination of the three. But most of this talk is about the ladies in front of the camera- with a close second going to the ladies behind the camera. They all deserve the lauds and notices they get. How cool is that?
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood: Friday the 13th
http://gregoryblair.blogspot.com/2015/02/friday-13th.html
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood. Friday, February 13, 2015. A scary day. A day of rumored, infamous bad luck. It became the name of an internationally known horror movie franchise. I even shot my film DEADLY REVISIONS at the same cabin as that franchise’s fourth installment: partly as homage and partly to play on the theme. But let’s get real. There is no such thing as a bad luck day. There is no such thing as bad luck at all. Or luck of any kind. I don’t want to extend this idea here, but I...
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood: The Fall Festival Season
http://gregoryblair.blogspot.com/2014/09/the-fall-festival-season.html
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood. Monday, September 1, 2014. The Fall Festival Season. More often than not, part of a film’s emergence in the public eye takes place at festivals. Most folks are familiar with Sundance and a few others, but there are hundreds upon hundreds of film festivals:. Some wide in scope, others very specific to a certain niche. The goal of the filmmaker is exposure and the chance at attaching a few laurels to their film. And so the festival preparations began:. Actually being...
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood: The First Festival
http://gregoryblair.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-first-festival.html
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood. Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Actors Lise Hart and Mikhail Blokh and our awards. My film DEADLY REVISIONS had its world premiere in Los Angeles last month. It came with great fanfare:. Not only was I notified I had been accepted to the festival, I was informed my film had won two top accolades! Yes, our first film festival and we were already the proud recipients of the L.A. Movie Awards for Best Narrative Feature and Best Actor (For Bill Oberst, Jr.). We’re al...
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood: I Fight Demons
http://gregoryblair.blogspot.com/2015/07/i-fight-demons.html
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood. Tuesday, July 28, 2015. It’s about time I write a new blog entry. I have been quite remiss in this. I’ve been avoiding it for a while because I felt I had nothing to say. Or, rather, that I had nothing I wanted to say. I had lots to say; I just didn’t want to blog about it. But then I thought, perhaps, that sharing what I was feeling might help others feel not so crazy. So if this gets too touchy-feely for you, feel free to flee to the next blog. The rest of you are.
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood: Coming of Age
http://gregoryblair.blogspot.com/2015/04/coming-of-age.html
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood. Monday, April 6, 2015. Stephen King’s “Carrie” is a coming of age story, complete with growing pains, lessons learned and exceptionally horrific melodrama. It’s interesting and sweetly fitting that the musical “Carrie” has had its own coming of age story. The first production of the musical “Carrie” was a bona fide mess. Fortunately, for those of us who knew there was a genuinely moving musical lost amidst Hand’s preposterous smoke and laser beam show, Gore a...

Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood: January 2015
http://gregoryblair.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Gregory Blair: Adventures in Hollywood. Sunday, January 4, 2015. The photo above, to my mind, shows someone reaching for a star. That image seems appropriate for aspirations, hopes and dreams for a new year. That it happens to be one of the awards my film DEADLY REVISIONS won last year only adds to the metaphor: that we should honor those who reach, for it is the reaching, not the star, that matters. CYBER, MAJOR CRIMES, and Steven Spielberg's EXTANT;. Sowhat are you reaching for? Or more about me:.

Thursday, December 27, 2012. Tim Bullard's Article on Bill Oberst, Jr. Bill Oberst Jr. is a Christian, having portrayed Jesus Christ at Precious Blood Catholic Church, but right now industry executives are taking note of his work in horror movies, many of which you can find now at Red Box locations across the country. I’m in South Carolina doing A Christmas Carol at Brookgreen," he said. It is a Facebook application. He puts in his password at Facebook, and you get a close-up of Bill, sweating. There...

Fear Makes You Stupid. Need to get more stickers for this thing:. Scrum and Documenting (an MVP Edge Case). After working on what I consider to be one of the strongest development teams I have ever had the honor to work with (and this is with my typical moaning and complaining), I am an honest convert to the agile processes and methods camp WHEN THEY ARE PROPERLY USED! In this case we are using Scrum). […]. This is actually a throwback photo from last year? Courtesy of a colleague of mine). For those not...
