***************************: Valentines Desgin!
http://oohlalalovlies.blogspot.com/2011/02/valentines-desgin.html
Tuesday, February 8, 2011. Well it has been a long time. Much longer than planned, but I thought Id share my latest craft. A valentines door or wall decor made from a old vintage book! This was pretty easy to do, making the fans or "flowers" out of book pages was the most time consuming! Here is where I got the idea :. I did change the center words and did it my own way. http://brandocarriepetersenfamily.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
A double dose of A, a whole lot of B, and just the right amount of C makes a family. Monday, December 29, 2008. We always spend Christmas Eve with Brandon's family. Sadly I didn't take any pictures. We had alot of fun. We had a good turkey dinner. Played some games and handed out gifts. Brandon's parents bought Amelia this Jim Shore princess. I love Belle from Beauty and The Beast. I know she will love it. Amelia sitting in her chair. Amelia in her cute new Christmas dress. Carrie and Brandon Petersen.

Friday, February 18, 2011. I found this Push-Pin board at a thrift store for 2 bucks. PS Sorry about the pictures- I took them at night, so no natural light! Just the lovely florescents in my kitchen! I liked the mustard yellow center and decided to bring it home and see what I could come up with. This was my ending result tonight. The frame is a touch more "Aqua" than I hoped for, but it is fun! I made the roses out of colored burlap from hobby lobby. For frame project (as pictured):. I didn't use a pat...

http://oohlalalovlies.blogspot.com/2010/11/pumpkin-pie.html
Friday, November 19, 2010. I love the colors, smells and cooking. When I was in the store the other day I saw this. Not just any pumpkin but a Pie Pumpkin! I have never actually cooked a pie like this from scratch, the closest I have come is using a can of pumpkin puree. So I thought heck why not start this adventure of mine with just that? Making homemade pumpkin pies from the pumpkin itself! So with Pie Pumpkins and the right spices. There I have it. Home made pies didn't they turn out lovely!

Tuesday, April 19, 2011. I have seen the result of people dying their Easter eggs with silk a few times and loved it. So I decided to stop at a thrift store and grab a few cheap silk ties. Today Ella and I decided to do a trial run on a few eggs before we do our official Egg dying this weekend! Here is how they turned out:. They worked pretty well! To try making your own silk dyed eggs follow these instructions:. Glass or enamel pot (but pretty much any non-aluminum. Pot will be fine). 4 Place the egg(s)...

Cut some sport balls out of the fabric and added them to the bum! I didn't use a patterned just kinda winged it, then used. Sewable- Heat n Bond" from Walmart for about $2.50. Added it onto the back of my fabric and attached it to the onsie, then did a zig-zag stitch around edges to secure and to add a little more detail!
