Bohinj and Bled, again and again. August 11, 2013. Hiking in Kamnik-Savinja Alps. Nadiža river – the place that I didn’t get →. Are two the most famous lakes in Slovenia surrounded by Julian Alps. When I saw them for the first time I was very impressed, especially with Bohinj. Local people also prefer this lake which is not so touristic and nice for swimming. But… I’m a bit intoxicated with these lakes for now because I visited them too many times. :-). Bohinj and Bled - Vi. Bohinj and Bled - Vi.

Where I’ve been (out of Škofja Loka) and what I’ve seen while I’m doing my EVS. For the period 16.11.2012 – 21.10.2013 I traveled to 12 countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Belgium, France, Austria, Germany, Monaco, San Marino, Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia). I’ve been out of Škofja Loka – about 90 days. I hiked to Lubnik (4 times), Križna Gora (2 times), Ratitovec, Osovnik, Blegoš, Češka koča, Storžič. 23 – 26. Zadar, Silba island, Smiljan. 15 – 16. 20 – 21. 22 – 23. 20 – 24. 5 – 9.

There are a few caves in Slovenia, but according to the words of local population, the most beautiful are the Škocjan Caves. There we went, Ana, Nejc and me. On the main site of Park Škocjanske jame. It was the highest and the most real mountain among my EVS hiking. :-) We (Ani, Janis, Andrea, Matjaž and me) chose a perfect day for Storžič, the day of the golden season of the year.
