My friends and I spent this past weekend down at Smith Mountain Lake (if we actually left our house and utilized some of the lake’s amenities I’d blog about it). Upon determining our route from Harrisonburg, I noticed much of the trip was along small country roads. After getting off 81 about an hour south of Harrisonburg, we were directed through the George Washington National Forest. Via route 43 east @ Buchanan, Virginia.
