A Mother At Home: October 2009

http://felicityathome.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Saturday, October 3, 2009. I can't naturally 'love my children'! I think a lot of people know that I have never naturally been drawn to babies and kids, not like I was towards animals! The first time I ever really held a baby, changed a baby, dressed a baby, was when my first daughter was born. It's not that I didn't like babies or kids, I was just never really around them much to be able to gain a love, and appreciation for them! I have been mulling over Titus 2:4-5 a lot lately,. Although many mothers ...

A Mother At Home: November 2009

http://felicityathome.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 27, 2009. Here are some things I love about Spring. that is when it is 'normal' Spring weather (not like the hot days we had last week! You know those low 20 degree days when the sky is blue and there are a few wispy clouds floating around and there's a gentle breeze in the air. I love lazing on blankets and cushions in the sun,. Going for walks to the park and friends houses. Going to the park for dinner and watching our crazy, cute kids play cricket. His love endures forever. Cure The ...

A Mother At Home: The word humilty..

http://felicityathome.blogspot.com/2010/03/word-humilty.html

Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Humbling myself under the mighty hand of God. 1 Peter 5:6). Often it is so much easier to judge others and accuse them of being proud, conceited, unsubmissive, but in my assessment of them, aren't I being proud, conceited, unsubmissive before them and more importantly, before Almighty God. Whatever the Lord pleases, He does, in heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps. Psalm 135:6". Evil in the sight of the Lord. By carefully observing all the words of this law and these...

A Mother At Home: An inspiring mother

http://felicityathome.blogspot.com/2010/03/inspiring-mother.html

Monday, March 22, 2010. On the weekend we watched Gifted Hands. The story about Ben Carson who is the the director of pediatric neurosurgery at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. It was such an inspiring movie for me in many ways. I have often seen the book Gifted Hands in Koorong and wondered what it was about, this movie has now inspired me to read it! What inspired me most was his mother. Here. Here's what he says about her in the interview. And do not forsake your mothers teaching;. The movie al...

Spectacularly Ordinary: Content in the Chaos

http://spectacularlyordinarymum.blogspot.com/2013/03/content-in-chaos.html

Thursday, March 21, 2013. Content in the Chaos. When everything turns upside down. From out of nowhere comes the call.your landlord has decided to sell. No more, no less. Just an emotional roller coaster for the next 4 months. Why? Why does the next step of our adventure scare me so incredibly? Why can't my emotions focus on the fact that God has never let us down before instead of fluctuating between the high hopes of my unaffordable dream house and the reality of our finances and loan options.

Spectacularly Ordinary: February 2010

http://spectacularlyordinarymum.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Adelaide to Sydney - Part II. Day 4 - As we travelled the silver glisten on the roadside had us intrigued until we realized that if each web was home to one spider! We quickly took our photos and then meandered out toward the NSW coast stopping at Bega (I love cheese! We stopped in a small inland town called Mogo where I could happily have spent far more cash than we had on alpaca rugs and the like. After a text to our NSW expat friends we changed course to explore. Day 7 - ...

Spectacularly Ordinary: July 2010

http://spectacularlyordinarymum.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html

Thursday, July 8, 2010. Eye of the Storm. I love the imagery of the twister, it seems to fit how I feel. Yet in the midst of the movement, there is a quiet place of peace and rest. A center where I crawl up into the lap of the Creator and take time to see things from His perspective, to tune in to His heartbeat for myself and those around me. Be still and know that I am God. Spectacularly Ordinary: October 2010

http://spectacularlyordinarymum.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html

Saturday, October 16, 2010. Of France and Greece and Ducks and Geese. You know those days that just seemed to happen, the ones that start out with a small amount of planning and end up so much more than what had been planned? Today was one of those days. Goolwa finally loomed on the horizon and we found ourselves perusing the art galleries and gift shops. Very cultured, very chic, then after much giggling and gasping over price tags we realized that the thunder in the distance was actually our rumbli...

Spectacularly Ordinary: January 2010

http://spectacularlyordinarymum.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Saturday, January 23, 2010. Adelaide to Sydney - Part I. It was worse than covering school books with contact. Note - this job began the day before Christmas, in between preparing the vegetables and everything else that needed to be done:) An awesome oppurtunity for patience and service. Praise God His grace is available even the day before Christmas! We packed our tents and sleeping bags as this was to be an 'on the cheap' holiday and next morning the adventure began. Day 2 - Port Campbell to Leongatha&...

RE~GENESIS | The Art and Science of Mutating Archetypes

The Art and Science of Mutating Archetypes. The Farce of July. July 2, 2015. The 4th of July. Burst in the sky. From wanting to fly. Nice folks getting high. On hot dogs and beer. Can no longer hear. Dogs cry, kitties go hide. And I, myself, wanna go for a ride. To get away from the fear. That people I know. Still want to be near. That glorifies our nation. On this special day. That waves the flag of empire. Built on a lie. So to me, today looks like. We’re all gonna die. Unless a new evolution. It is re...

A Mother At Home

Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Some posts to make you think and cry. I have read a few posts over the past week which have made me think and cry and I thought I would share them. This story about baby Ani in Africa is very heartbreaking, it's so hard to fathom how many little babies (and their mothers) around the world suffer like this little one did, praise God she is now in heaven. Here is the first post. And here is the second one. To his 17 year old son, it too is well worth a read. And finally a happy post.
