Thursday, 28 January 2016. So hubs had his urologist appointment last night. We weren't sure it was worth doing, since the concern is morphology possibly caused by varicocele and we're doing IVF anyway (likely with ICSI) but we decided to exhaust all testing just to be sure. So he went. Based on some research regarding morphology, we were definitely expecting the urologist to mention varicocele. And he did. Are these masses that could be cancerous? Anyways. Not much we can do but continue to wait for...

Quick rundown of our history:. 2012 – Started TTC Spring with temping, opks and timed intercourse. 2012 – Fall we became concerned after 6 months of actively trying without results. 2012 – Winter our Family Doc prescribed clomid, 3 rounds with no success. 2013 – Spring Fertility clinic consultation. 2013 – Fall fresh IVF Cycle (Eric in the hospital with appendicitis). Eric’s morphology = 1%. 11 follicles, 9 eggs retrieved, 7 mature, 4 fertilized with ICSI. Transferred 2 day 3. Transferred 2 day 5 embryos.

January 6, 2013. I guess I always had a tiny bit of hope. But, I was expecting the heavy bleeding and cramps any second now. This morning I awoke to heavy bleeding with small clots. Informed Chemical Pregnancy, expect m/c. 18 dpo - darker BFP, digital says 1-2 pregnant. Beta HCG is 20.

January 4, 2013. First appointment w/ ultrasound (6w4d). Appointment w/ ultrasound yesterday. Not good news. There are two sacs, and they both appear to be empty. One sac measures 7.5 weeks and I should be 6.5 weeks exactly. I'm 100% positive of my dates. At either 6.5 or 7.5 weeks, we should see something in the sac, a baby, a yolk sac, and/or a heartbeat.
