In 1995 I walked around Ireland on my own following the way-marked ways. This took me three and a half months and covered a distance of 1700 kms. Volunteers raised a substantial amount of money and this was used to purchase essential medical equipment for Doctors treating children suffering the horrific effect of radiation from The Chernobyl Disaster. Paid a visit to the magnicent ruins of Dunbrody Abbey as the sun painted the 12th century walls with nature’s hues.
