Our friends Nicole and Ross were busy getting their house ready for an open house, so we got to keep our goddaughter Olivia for the good part of the day on Saturday! Sunday, January 17, 2010. Snow Day - December 4, 2009. Note: I'm going to try to go back in fill in a little bit of what I missed, so please bear with the dates jumping around! We don't get snow much here in the deep south, but on December 4, 2009, it snowed in Houston, Texas! We picked Anna up from school early so that she could enjoy it while it was still coming down. She really loved getting to wear her mittens ("glubs") and just had a blast playing in the snow. But she eventually got the hang of it!

Thursday, November 26, 2009. Last Friday, Anna's class had a Thanksgiving lunch that the parents were invited to. MawMaw and Anna helped me make these cute little turkey cupcakes from the book " Hello, Cupcake! To bring to Anna's friends in her class. They were so adorable, but by the time I got them to the school, the icing was softening and some of the heads were falling off! To that, all I can say is Oops! But hey, nobody's perfect. Friday, July 15, 2011. Say Hello to My Little Friend. We've heard lots of stories about Anna picking up little tree frogs when they play outside at her school, so I guess we weren't too surprised tonight when she found a new little "friend" in the backyard. Meet "Isabella" (yes, apparently it's a girl). . . Derek taught her how to hold it and made sure she didn't squeeze too tight. He even let it bite him to show her that it doesn't hurt. Best of both worlds. Man, I love that little girl!

It was the first vacation with the kids that we’ve taken where we didn’t stay at someone’s house –. All alone – just the 4 of us…which was probably my favorite part. I came home feeling very bonded to my 3 favorite people on the planet. We finger-painted…(twice),. Went swimming…(twice),. Made s’mores,. And conquered big obstacles🙂.

Our 3 beautiful girls that keep us busy. Illie has become such a great help with the baby and she is so sweet and caring of her. It amazes us how Illie and Jesse are so alike. Jesse is like Illie all over again. Bayles had a hard time adjusting but is doing great now. She loves being a older sister. Such a beautiful day!

Saturday, May 17, 2008. Just one of the guys. Monday, May 5, 2008. The little one is 3 months old as of yesterday! I hope to make this a monthly tradition so I can look back and remember what he was doing when. For those that know me well you know my memory is not the greatest :). In the past month Logan has done quite a few new things. Smiles, coos and almost laughs. Went to his first concert. Which he loved. He was wide awake for the entire thing just like a big kid. Loves to watch his big brother.
