The pre-review steps are complete, I am indeed a fit and proper person, I have 5 GCSEs, I have no conflicts of interest that I am aware of, plus I am genuinely independent of government. I helped move a load of freshers in to halls over the weekend. They make me feel old! I know it's just that I'm older, but they look younger than last year. It was scary. Above is a response from the Department of Health (DH) to my MP, Layla Moran who very kindly sent them a question about pre-conditions to negotiation of the junior doctor contract. The background to this is complex but this specific issue can be summarised fairly concisely.
