Friday, 13 April 2012. So I first met Eve O'Neill on the dance floor. Of my local live music venue. It took me a while to put two and two together and realise that she was the proprietor of Fforestfelt. And creator of these beautiful felted birdies! I never cease to be amazed by how realistic Eve's felt sculptures look. They're absolutely stunning. You could easily mistake this guy for a real life visitor to the garden! She works with locally sourced wool as well as other items foraged from her surroundings in Wales such as feathers and lichen to needle felt beautiful sculptures of natural forms and animals. Monday, 31 August 2015. Two Stratton compacts.and the start of another collection. Well, if you thought my mum was an old doll at 90, my brother-in-law's mum can beat that at the grand old age of 94. Her birthday was the day after my mum's 90th. My mum and his mum now live in the same care home. A very old Mary Thomas book is the one I treasure the most but I like this one by Marion Nichols, it's the best for explaining the stitches.
