Subcompact has earned a US government fuel-economy equivalent rating or MPGe. Of 108 miles per gallon. The rating is based on measurements and a formula used to determine how many miles electric vehicles travel on a unit of battery-generated electricity that contains with the same amount of energy as a gallon of gasoline. And $1,000 for a Toyota Prius. impressive.

For two weeks in September, 2011, we were on a road trip from Washington State to San Diego and back. We drove our 2012 Fiat 500 Prima Edizione Number 480. Much of the trip was on secondary highways and back roads in Oregon and California. On day two we met up with the California Melee. Tour group in Ft. Bragg where they spent the night. On day three we attended the monthly meeting of Fiat America. I was able to update this on mostly a daily basis, but we all know how things go while on vacation!

We made it to Monterey in our 1969 Fiat 500 'Roadster' for Concorso Italiano. No top meant bundled up with jackets, beanies, glove and, for me, a blanket across my lap.
