Friday, September 12, 2014. A multi-personality self portrait. A few months ago, PAQA-S. Professional Art Quilters' Alliance - South) held its annual international show. This year's theme was ARTQUILTSwhimsy. Those of us who were selected for the show were also given an option to submit a small (8.5"x11") self-portrait. Here's mine:. As you can see, the stamp filter on Photoshop helped me produce 4 black and white "Debbie's" from this photo. Still, discussions like that can awaken the grumbling, curmudge...
Fiber Art Options: “Fancy Goldfish”
http://fiberartoptions.blogspot.com/2015/02/fancy-goldfish.html
Thursday, February 12, 2015. 8220;Fancy Goldfish”. Susan Brubaker Knapp here. This is my piece for The Alliance for American Quilts. 8217; 2015 Contest, “Animals We Love.”. It was very tricky getting good photos of this piece. I had to shoot it five times – at different times of day today – to get the photos in this post. Some of the shots were too washed out, some were too flat. The photos here are pretty true to color, and I ’. M pleased with how the texture of the quilting shows. Deborah M. Langsam.

Occasional Threads – Ellen Guerrant. See My Work Here. Last Glimpse of Autumn. Posted November 13th, 2014 by Ellen and filed in Garden. While snow falls in other parts of the country, we’ve enjoyed lovely, warm temperatures. Yesterday, it was 77 degrees in Charlotte! Many were out in shorts, walking their babies, running, walking their dogs. I’m not ready for the 25 degrees expected tomorrow morning. Obviously, I should have been taking advantage of our warm days instead of working inside.
