May 17, 2010. Our first stop, Cerro Campanario, has some of the most magnificent views I have ever seen. The lakes go on for MILES and they are all different shapes and colors. You can see mountain peaks in Chile from here, and luckily the first dusting of snow happened the night before so it was even more picturesque. February 23, 2010. Summa summa summa tiiiime. Plus, the weather in the summer here is 90 degrees and humid as all hell. Needless to say, I spent the last 2 months going to and from work in the sweaty subway, seeking out air conditioning wherever I went, and getting out of the city as much as humanly possible. September 1, 2010. Here are a few photos of the last month here in Bariloche! The weather has been crazy- constantly changing from being sunny and warm to snowing to more sun to rain. I've done some of the best snowboarding of my life only to be followed by a week of the mountain being closed or the base being muddy and snow-less. It has definitely been an adventure! GUALEGUAYCHU (pronounced wall-uh-why-chew) is a city about 3 hours away from Buenos Aires that annually puts on the "Carnaval de Pais" a.k.a. the raddest Carnaval celebration in all of Argentina. So it was Friday morning and we thought the bus and all accommodations in Gualeguaychu were full. Lauren, Evan, Kacy and I were hungover from a big night out in Buenos Aires, and we were about to give up on the pending adventure when I got a message from my friend saying that the trip was on!
