http://listener-xwd.livejournal.com/30156.html
The Listener Crossword Weblog. Listener 4010 - Euclid's Algorithm by Aedites. Just a short one for my final LiveJournal blog and I shall drop the pretence of writing in real time. What is a Nina? ~ Crossword Unclued
http://www.crosswordunclued.com/2009/10/what-is-nina.html
Saturday, October 10, 2009. What is a Nina? This is the fifth instalment in a series of posts about crossword grids. Previous entries in the series: symmetry. A Nina is a special feature of the crossword grid: a word, words or phrase hidden within a pattern of cells in the completed grid. An example from an Indy crossword: the words STALACTITE and STALAGMITE are concealed vertically, in symmetrical positions. Why is it called a Nina? Many think Nina is an acronym. It isn't. This w...

Untangling words and yarn. Untangling words and yarn. Thursday, 17 December 2015. The Age/SMH Cryptic by NS #20,803. I got through this one with no issues today. We were kicked out of our house for a few hours while the pest control guy sprayed our property (Goodbye annoying, tiny ants that can fit through cracks in floor boards! All parsed and understood, thank you NS! I might have some nerve to pull out last week's DA that I never got finished. Sounds like god of festivity is to support you and me (7).
