Its crazy, weird experience.but its always fun re-inventing myself! Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Today, I had my first meeting with my oncologist, Dr. Singh at the Cedar Valley Cancer Center. We went over the pathology report from surgery, which I knew most all of that info already. Wednesday, I travel to Des Moines for my second expansion. Monday, April 25, 2011.

I am now bald.and wearing my wig! And then we were all crying. So anyway, my hair is gone. Its kinda humiliating.Im not used to it. Today, when I went to my dr appointment at the Center of Infectious Diseases, I wore my wig and a hat. I will post pics when I become more secure about it.not ready yet. Friday, May 27, 2011.

For the last year, and especially last 4 months, I have been sipping my Bedtime tea as soon as (or sometimes before) Alayna and Pax get put to bed. Its October 1st, meaning Breast Cancer Awareness Month has kicked off! Yesterday, I found out that although I am going to be done with the drug Taxol for good, I am not nearly done with chemo. I am also doing herceptin with the taxol right now, and was told that I will be continuing to get herceptin treatments for another 9 months. So, boo! October 9th, 2011.
