Friday, March 4, 2011. Hard to believe that 8 weeks of Nursing 4 is over; I am half way done with the semester. Spring break began today for me. It does not mean, however, time for traveling or resting. In fact, the week is almost booked and I am feeling tired already! Plans for next week include time to clean a little, organize a lot, volunteer at Robiana's school, get caught up with some reading assignments and, hopefully, a trip to St. Augustine and nearby parks. Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Having fun with a fundraiser. Last Saturday, we served as volunteers at a "Show Hope" booth. This is the second time we do this (first time was in 2008.) However, our daughter now understands a lot more and has many questions. A couple of the questions she asked me during and/or after the event were: Was I an orphan before? Friday, August 5, 2011. I am a graduate nurse and I could not be happier right now. The last 18 months were trying but God helped me through it all. I was the Inspirational Speaker at our Pinning Ceremony last night. That job was nerve-racking and there were moments before I stood there when I regretted accepting the nomination.
