First day on Thursday just did some light snatch triples at 55 lbs, then mostly worked on jerk technique, and finished off with squatting to a max (mine being 165 lbs lol from not really squatting heavy or at all), and 2 x 2 at 150. I had a really bad snatch session last Friday, first pull felt very awkward like everything was either scraping my shins or getting away from me. Jerks are feeling better than last week though. I need to be more active pulling up with my arms at the end of the second pull. I’ve been letting myself just drop under vs. pulling under. This may be influenced by the way I’ve been doing pulls. I am finishing my second pull a bit too early, which is why I always fail forward. I don’t think I realize I’ve been doing it in my warmups though I do step forward which should be an indication.
