A Darling Place: February 2015
http://adarlingplace.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Capturing the darling moments of our everyday lives. Friday, February 27, 2015. Little man started swim lessons today! Tonight is the annual Daddy Daughter Dance. The theme this year is "Pajama Party," so the girls wore their pjs. Jacob wasn't keen on wearing his flannel pants to school so he opted for more neutral wear. I can't believe this is Cate's last year. Wasn't she just this little? Tuesday, February 24, 2015. That means she will go to Atlanta to swim as well! Watch out Olympics, here comes Cate!

A Darling Place: December 2014
http://adarlingplace.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Capturing the darling moments of our everyday lives. Thursday, December 11, 2014. Last Friday, we headed out to find our Christmas tree. There are so many traditions to teach to Gabe this holiday season! As with most things new, he has taken it all in stride and with much delight. We made it a night of decorating with pizza and cookies. I love our tree this year! Thankfully we got the tree up before sickness descended on our household. Ahhh…this the season! Fortunate Blessings: February 2015
http://fortunateblessings.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
The journey to our daughter in China and beyond. Friday, February 20, 2015. Chinese New Year 2015. We were able to attend a wonderful Chinese New Year party thrown by a few local adoptive families this year. It was a great time filled with Chinese food, crafts and singing and dancing by local language teachers. That's right. I'm returning to China. While part of me wishes I was announcing another adoption, that's just not what God has in store for our family at this time. What about the cost? At this poi...

The journey to our daughter in China and beyond. Friday, December 19, 2014. In my last post. I wrote about how Olivia's birthday is hard for me as we don't feel like we know her true birth date or much concerning the events that surrounded her first few weeks and months of life. Well, in the last three weeks, we have received one of the most amazing blessings. A further look into Olivia's past and a note that in just a few words means more to us as parents than we can explain. Because, Olivia who has bio...

Getting to know M, taking care of 4 kids, and just getting back to a normal routine after all the traveling and family changes has left us pretty exhausted! Here are some pictures from the last week! Funny how that works! I really wanted to ...

3 Lloyd Boys and Our Journey To Mayleigh Wei. Copy and Paste This Code:. Wednesday, November 13, 2013. What's in a name? Well if any of you know me well, you know I have a VERY hard time making decisions! So just like anything else, I (we) couldnt make a decision on our sweet little girls name! Jeff kind of wanted to wait until we saw her picture. I on the other hand, did not! In fact some of my friends just called her Annakate. (that is the one I was always leaning toward). And that she is! The spelling...

After we picked it out and brought it home, we were all excited for Daddy to start putting it together. Luckily with the random 80 degree weather in March, we had lots of gorgeous days to work on it. LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of days to work on it! The manual said 8-10 hours.huh, I dont know what kind of super Dad could do that! Special waffles ...

3 Lloyd Boys and Our Journey To Mayleigh Wei. Copy and Paste This Code:. Thursday, July 31, 2014. Life at the hospital.day 3 post op. We have now been here 5 days at Nationwide. It is such a wonderful hospital that it hasn't felt that bad but at times we are ready to bust out of these 4 walls. Actually compared to my last few months, this is the most relaxed and slow we have been! In one sense it's kind of nice to be forced to slow down. She did have 230 stitches. Can you imagine? She is so brave! So any...
