ME-OW: October 2005
http://babymoxy.blogspot.com/2005_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 30, 2005. Well as an update from the last post, I have passed all of my exams so far. Histology was a bit of a squeeze-by but a pass nonetheless. I am in the midst of studying for my 4th exam on the head, neck and upper limb. Darn cranial nerves. I know there's only 12 of them but they can be damn confusing sometimes. 20 minute walk to Bloor and Spadina, I find again, only one other teammate there. WTF! Posted by Lesley @ 8:23 PM. Friday, October 07, 2005. I also can't forget that Boon br...

ME-OW: June 2005

Friday, June 24, 2005. School always finds a way to screw you. I waited for 20 minutes for this teacher meet me in the office and to help me dismantle my piece. Finally when she came, she says "Hi, you must be Lesley, sorry for keeping you. So show me where this art piece of yours is." What? You mean she doesn't even know what it is or where it was? Ok I felt like a bitch for taking it out on him, but I was really pissed. And then tears started to form. And I hate crying in public too! Posted by Lesley @...

ME-OW: December 2005
http://babymoxy.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 11, 2005. Don't you ever wish in life you never miss a thing? I am convinced that my brain works at the rate of dial-up internet. I wish someone could invent real-time closed captioning. If you've ever watched TV with CC, you know that you never miss what someone says, or you even know what's going to happen before you see it! That would be great, if I could just have a black rectangle with scrolling words across the bottom of my visual field everywhere I go (including lectures). So I re...

ME-OW: January 2006
http://babymoxy.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 31, 2006. I went home this weekend for Chinese New Year and had a pleasant dinner with the family. Not much of this dinner resembled anything Chinese other than there were Chinese people sitting at the table. We ate pan-seered beef tenderloin with scallops and proscuitto, mashed potatoes, potato slivers and long beans. Anyways, interesting conversation topics ensued including this one:. Mom: "Hey did you see the fish? We just got two new beta fish aka Siamese fighting fish). Yesterday I ...

Friday, September 30, 2005. Gypsy skirts, go away! OK those flossy cotton, layered skirts must go. Who started this trend? Is it all of the sudden cool to be a gypsy? Posted by Lesley @ 1:16 PM. Wednesday, September 14, 2005. Having seen how much stuff he was getting, I wasn't feeling so bad for him. Does that seem like an odd thing? I often wish to know the stories behind homeless people. Why are they homeless? What do they do with the money they get? Posted by Lesley @ 7:34 PM. I don't think I can hand...

Who let me into this program??: May 2006
http://iloveresidency.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Who let me into this program? Well, it looks as though the culmination of 4 years of hard work in medical school (ok .I didn't really work that hard) has landed me in a family medicine residency. Anyways, when I feel so inclined, I am going to keep a little journal of the events that happen to me over the next two years. Feel free to head off to the next blog. Wednesday, May 03, 2006. Just when you thought things would get boring. Trying to remove a sliver that i can't even see. Posted by Moxy at 11:38 PM.
