Replace Contributors In Team Blog With Individual Profile | Adventures With Blogging
http://awblogging.blogspot.com/2010/02/i-was-helping-out-friend-with-her-blog.html
Replace Contributors In Team Blog With Individual Profile. I was helping out a friend with her blog recently and it became clear I needed 'admin privileges' to be able to edit the html at my leisure. This immediately caused a problem as the Profile was replaced by Contributors. Whilst I was contributing technically I wasn't helping with the content so it was inappropriate to be listed. After much searching I figured I'd have a go at it myself. In the words of Jeremy Clarkson: "How hard can it be? When I ...

Remove Underlining Of URL's | Adventures With Blogging
http://awblogging.blogspot.com/2010/02/remove-underlining-of-urls.html
Remove Underlining Of URL's. I personally dislike the constant underlinging of URL's as I think it makes an already cluttered blog look even more cluttered. So I searched the web and found many helpful blogs telling me how to do it, such as Tricks For New Bloggers. Sadly however, the template I'm using in Blogger didn't have the exact html code as most of the blogs were describing. Eventually I found this code:. And simply edited it as follows:. Releasing Sons & Daughters
http://www.dpfinnie.com/2015/05/releasing-sons-daughters.html
Releasing Sons and Daughters. Over the last few weeks at The Gathering we've had the joy and privilege of releasing some of our sons and daughters into preaching and it's not been a disappointing journey. This Sunday Rejoice spoke with genuine wisdom and insight into the Kingdom of God and what are we seeing, based on Matthew 20, the Transfiguration story and Isaiah 6. Rejoice's word was both exciting and encouraging and it warmed our hearts to see how well she knows the Word. Phillimon in full flow.

C Is For Conference
http://www.dpfinnie.com/2013/04/c-is-for-conference_3.html
C Is For Conference. Good Friday saw Tree of Life getting together with our family of Church of Love and Grace and Simon's Bay Christian Church for our first ever conference. The theme was The Master's Plan which was highly appropriate for the Easter weekend. I've never spoken at a conference before so was very excited by this opportunity but also a little nervous, especially about speaking in front of around 100 people. This post is part of a series in the Blogging From A To Z Challenge, April 2013.

Soup Kitchen
http://www.dpfinnie.com/2015/05/soup-kitchen.html
The Gathering began our soup kitchen tonight and we were really encouraged by the initial response and really believe it's going to become an effective ministry in the community. We put the word out on the street but didn't formally advertise the soup kitchen and we had ten adults and three children come for soup. We also gave some to the pump attendants who are always very friendly and helpful, they were pleased to get some hot soup on a cold night. Thank you Lord for your faithfulness and blessing!

Michael
http://www.dpfinnie.com/2015/07/michael.html
I'd like to ask all our praying friends to pray for Michael, he had a mild stroke about 3 weeks ago and whilst he's up and about he's struggling with the loss of use of his left hand and he's a bit wobbly and has fallen a few times. I'm gutted to see Michael looking so pathetic because he's far from being pathetic, he's a great guy, strong as an ox and always a willing helper. Michael is a dear friend and a big blessing to us as a family and we'd love to see him restored to full health. I is for Indecisi...

H Is For History
http://www.dpfinnie.com/2013/04/h-is-for-history.html
H Is For History. I'm taking a break from my theme to look at a hot news topic. I'm not going to rejoice or gloat in her death (I've probably already said too much on Facebook and will no doubt get into trouble for this post) but neither will I mourn her passing. She was a deeply divisive politician and depending on your political persuasion she's either the saviour of the UK or the devil incarnate. History will have to decide how it wants to remember her but I remember her for a number of reasons. Howev...

I Is For Indecision

I Is For Indecision. I is for Indecision though arguably it should be for Déjà vu. I couldn't come up with anything for I so I'll go away and hope that J might come along to rescue me. This post is part of a series in the Blogging From A To Z Challenge, April 2013. This is a stolen /plagarised post from last year's challenge. Labels: a to z challenge. 10 April 2013 at 16:54. J for Joy, J for Jumping, J for Justice? Just throwing out some ideas, if you need them. Glad I found you through A to Z! We feel i...
