LTTX 89' utility pole flatcar. There are three modern era 100 ton skeleton log cars. The NSC rail car was used in logging operations in Canada from the mid 1960's, and can still be found in regional service today on the Portland and Western RR . The Evans and Portec cars were originally used in pulpwood service from the early 1980's. They can still be found hauling timber, pulpwood, or utility poles in many parts of the US.
